00:04 [Diana Mendez, Intern, BioBus.] My name is Diana Mendez. I'm currently a student at City College completing my Bachelor of Science in Biology, and I am very happily employed this summer at BioBus.

00:16 BioBus is literally my dream job, because I both want to research and teach. I am currently mentoring a group of high schoolers through a research project, which we go ahead and we set it up, but they kind of take it to whatever they like.

00:38 I really love this opportunity and I find it very satisfying to be able to work with youth, and so closely. I want to teach them how to think. I want them to learn how they can cultivate the skills that they need in order to solve problems, because at the end of the day, that's what you need. To be able to be put inside of a lab, be able to have the respect of my colleagues and my supervisors, and to be trusted with the task of guiding these high schoolers; it's like an absolute dream.
