00:07 [Julia Haskins, Intern, Werewool.] [Music.] My name is Julia Haskins. I went to NYU. I graduated last year. I studied biomolecular science and integrated digital media, and I'm an intern for Werewool in molecular biology and chemical engineering intern.
00:20 I really like this program, because I think it's catered towards students and recent graduates. I really liked seeing this portal; there were a lot of jobs that were catered to exactly what I was looking for. And I've liked working at a startup, because it's small; the team is very close-knit, and I have the chance to have a lot of hands-on experience.
00:40 I actually, within the first month, had really met all the goals of what I wanted to do in the lab. Then, we just kept learning things as the company expanded, but my coworkers have also been great mentors. A lot of my professors know my co-workers. And events we go to, I'll see people that I either went to school with, or met while working in the city. So, I really like being able to stay up to date in that.
01:02 So, my goal really with Biology has been to change the way that people live, be that the same toolkit for molecular biology can also go into sustainability. I really think my generation are—you know what—people who are interested can be the people that change the system. [Music.]
